I think its interesting how the Gospel of John starts off with Jesus at the Jordan..It starts off with Jesus a fully grown man. No birth story, No 12 year old in the temple, no preview of Him in any other state but that of the Son of Man, fully mature and in the Earth..He came out of Nowhere..He was suddenly there...Manifest...And ready to fulfill all righteousness...How He fulfilled it, however, was in Secret...Between Him and the Father...No one saw, no one really knew..He was fulfilling all things without being noticed....He followed the Law the Way it was supposed to be followed, Between Him and the Lord...This is one reason why I believe we have very little account of Jesus' life before the Jordan, because it wasn't about the rest of us knowing...He walked the Way Adam should have..About the Father while working in the Earth...It is the same with us... Our relationship with the Father should be equally intimate..Not about everyone else or what secret thing i can get here to go and run and share with everyone else...But just to be with Him...And when thats our heart's desire, then will the Spirit tell you to share with others. Only then can we full consider the thing given us as precious and not common...Spoken freely and not out of obligation...Then we can understand what Jesus meant by saying "what you hear in the dark, speak in the Light". Because ultimately it Will be spoken in the light. But it must be first revealed in the dark...Or Secret...Or Place of Intimacy...Not for others, but for Him, Then for others...Be with Him and speaking with others will manifest...Now, what does that mean, sitting idly by with idle words until the Lord causes fire to come into our bones to force us to speak Truth?..Not at all...
